National Institute of Post Harvest Management is actively engaging in proper technology transfer activities to the Sri Lankan agriculture sector. Through this, many of new SMEs were established island wide and number of agro-based industries has been developed to produce quality products to their customers. “Royal Foods” one of the emerging brand in Sri Lanka, which is established and developed through the effective technology transfer activities of NIPHM. Capacity of their fruit drinks is more than 20,000 bottles per day. Royal Food have signed an agreement with NIPHM for using the institute name in their label, which gives marketing strength to them by creating customer credibility to their products. NIPHM always ready to support their stalk holders to improve their product process and product quality.
