ACADEMIC AND IT DIVISION

The NIPHM is the only Institute in Sri Lanka which, by its act, operates for the sole purpose of conducting research and developments in relation to the post-harvest technology. At the moment Academic and IT division of NIPHM is being engaged in developing ICT tools for managing other divisions’ activities and aiming the academic excellence of the institute. This is in line with the government towards of ICT development through the e-Sri Lanka Development Project, while aim to develop the economy of Sri Lanka, reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of the people of Sri Lanka. This could be the starting point of the future plans of the institute on developing its stake holders to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of our services of NIPHM.
